FoE Japan has been working on strengthening the safeguard policy of International Financial Corporation (IFC), the private sector arm of the World Bank Group. During the last IFC's Safeguard Policies revision, FoE Japan worked with other Japanese and international NGOs. We studied and analyzed them, and then forwarded our recommendations not only to the IFC but also to the Japanese Ministry of Finance.
